Abstract: Duke is one of the highly ranked universities in US. Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is a Sino-US partnership of Duke University, Wuhan University and Kunshan City. In this presentation, we will introduce Duke Kunshan University and Duke University, focusing on the ECE master’s program. We will discuss the learning opportunities and how our professional training facilitates students to be competitive candidates on the global job market, grow their long-term career paths and become global technical leaders. We will showcase a number of unique features for our maste’s education, including close mentorship and individual care, exciting course/research projects, intercultural campus life, strong industrial connection, extensive alumni network, competitive job placement, etc. The average start-up salary for our master students is about USD 120,000 (CNY 840,000) per year. Bio: Xin Li received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005. He is currently a Professor in the ECE Department at Duke University and is leading the Institute of Applied Physical Sciences and Engineering and the Data Science Research Center at Duke Kunshan University. From 2007 to 2016, he was an Assistant/Associate Professor in the ECE Department at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include integrated circuit, signal processing and data analytics. Dr. Li is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IEEE TCAD. He was an Associate Editor of IEEE TCAD, IEEE TBME, ACM TODAES, IEEE D&T and IET CPS. He was the General Chair of ISVLSI and FAC. He received the NSF CAREER Award in 2012 and six Best Paper Awards from IEEE TCAD, DAC, ICCAD and ISIC. He is a Fellow of IEEE.
