摘要：Evaluation of the risks and benefits of human subjects research is probably the most difficult and most neglected part of research ethics. There is lack of conceptual clarity but also lack of empirical knowledge. This talk will outline some of the difficulties and challenges, criticize common assumptions and suggest an alternative framework.
