报告摘要:

Agent orchestration has emerged as a centralchallenge in building reliable multi-agentsystems, especially when complex tasks requirecoordination, adaptation, and verifiableexecution. We present a transition-systemtheoretic perspective on agent orchestration, treating agent behaviors, interactions, andenvironment updates as structured statetransitions rather than ad hoc control flowsFrom task decomposition and workflowcomposition to monitoring, recovery, andfeedback-driven adaptation, transition systemsenable us to reason systematically about whatagents can do, what they should do, and howwe can guarantee desired outcomes. Bybringing together classicalformal methods andmodern agentic Al, we believe this perspectiveopens a path toward orchestrated systems thatare not only more capable, but also morereliable, interpretable, and ready for high-stakes deployment.
