摘 要：
The asymptotic equipartition property (AEP) plays an important role in establishing lossless source coding theorems and asymptotic coding theorems in information theory. In this talk, We first restate the AEP for nonhomogeneous Markov chains, tree-indexed Markov chains, and bifurcating Markov chains. Meanwhile, we introduce a hidden Markov tree model and its related equivalent properties. Finally, we give the strong law of large numbers and AEP of this model.

石志岩，江苏大学副教授，长期从事概率极限理论研究工作，尤其在树指标马氏链的大数定律方面取得一定的成果，先后在IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、Journal of Theoretical Probability等国内外学术期刊发表论文50多篇。主持国家自然科学基金基金2项，江苏省科协青年托举工程1项。
